It’s finally happening! The name of book two in Chronicles of The Otherworld is: Night Fury!
I want to share how important this book is to me, and why it has been nearly impossible to keep myself from sharing it with all of you.
You see, I never planned for CoTO to be my debut series. I had full intentions of writing it, and even had planned out a pretty decent chunk of the novels, but there was another series that I thought would be my debut.
I had thought about Night Shade almost every night as I drifted off to sleep, always saying “one day I’m going to write that book,” and then something happened that changed the entire trajectory of everything.
I got inspired for scenes for Night Fury. They were specifically in reference to Johanna and the trauma that she goes through and overcomes. It was so devastatingly beautiful that I couldn’t resist, and so I didn’t. I sat my ass down, put pen to paper, and started writing Night Shade.
Night Shade will always hold a special place in my heart, after all, there’s a reason why the characters tend to be immortal, but whenever I sit down to write Night Fury, there’s a nervous sort of joy that flows through me, like when someone surprises you with a present and you’re torn between cautiously unwrapping it or ripping the wrapping paper to shreds.
I can’t wait to get it into your hands so you can go through all of these emotions with me and experience the same love between Luke and Johanna that I’ve been nurturing for more than a year.
