September Recap

September was a month filled of learning to look on the bright side, taking a deep breath, and letting go of negativity.

I had a craving for pancakes which my partner fulfilled for me. The pancakes looked exactly like the picture from the recipe and tasted so good! We had them with a mango syrup he made from my favorite juice.

We took a trip to Cairo which was filled with a lot of highs and lows. I got to see the mountains as we drove along the coast. However, I also thought I was invincible and walked thirty flights of stairs in one day. May I not recommend you ever do that?
I'm still paying for that little exertion which included eighteen sleepless nights, but I'm getting a lot better.

But even with all of that, I had a really good writing month, and celebrated my One Year Anniversary of being an Author which is such a huge achievement for me.

I wanted to finish this with an important lesson: self-care isn't selfish. You're not a machine. Do what you need to take care of you.💕
